Project Info
Casa da Música celebrates two decades as one of Portugal’s most iconic cultural institutions. To mark the occasion, we developed a new identity that looks both to its past and its future, embracing the idea of time not as a straight line, but as a continuous flow of memories, influences and possibilities.
Inspired by the experimental spirit of Stefan Sagmeister’s original identity, the rebrand introduces a clock-shaped logo that reflects this concept of fluid time. A visual system where styles, eras and genres intersect, mirroring the institution’s role as a meeting point for different artistic expressions.
Rooted in the iconic architecture of the building and in Casa da Música’s mission as a stage for cultural exchange, the identity evolves as a living system: dynamic, adaptable and constantly reinventing itself. Just like the music and audiences it represents.
